Two Men Banned From All-You-Can-Eat Buffet For Eating Too Much!!

This seems pretty hypocritical!

An all-you-can-eat buffet in England has actually banned two of its regulars for coming in and always eating too much!

George Dalmon, 26, and Andy Miles, 25, were banned from eating at Gobi, a Mongolian Barbecue buffet in Brighton, England.

They were banned after the manager called them "a couple of pigs."

Judge Throws Out Lance Armstrong's Lawsuit!

lance armstong doping issue

As we previously mentioned, Lance Armstrong filed a federal lawsuit against the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

He claimed that the USADA's rules violate athletes’ constitutional rights to a fair trial and that their CEO has a personal vendetta against him.

Well a judge just dismissed Lance's lawsuit.

He can appeal the dismissal order but we're not sure if he will.

If he really didn't take anything, the truth should be found out in arbitration.

Because it's either go to arbitration or accept their terms and be banned from the sport forever!

Lance has inspired so many, it'd be so sad to see his career end this way.

Lance Armstrong's Case Goes Before Federal Judge

Armstrong Judge

Today is going to be a very important day for Lance Armstrong: he is taking his case before a federal judge to see if he can't stop charges by U.S. anti-doping officials.

He's being accused of using steroids and blood boosters to win the Tour de France from 1999 to 2005 — and being the mastermind behind a complex doping scheme on his teams.

We don't really buy it. If it's true, one of the biggest heroes of cycling will have all been a lie.

Plus, if he's guilty, he'll be stripped of his titles and banned from the sport forever.

All these accusations have of course made Lance take up arms, and argue the USADA's investigation and arbitration process are unfair and violate his constitutional right to due process — and claims the International Cycling Union, the sport's governing body, should have jurisdiction and the union has come to his defense.

If the judge throws out his lawsuit, he can appeal to the New Orleans-based 5th U.S. Circuit Court.

Or, you know, take his case to arbitration under USADA rules or quit the fight and accept sanctions.

The judge won't be ruling on the evidence, just what the due process should be.

We'll be finding out what happens shortly!

Water Polo Ref Apologizes For Being Terrible At His Job

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueOlympics

Water Polo Ref

Poor Spain!

So there's this water polo ref, right?

He blew a call, and it happened to be a game-deciding one, so he got fired.

While that's awful, especially for the losing team (Spain), he IS doing one thing right:

Oh man, really??

You're representing us, and you test positive for weed??

Nick Delpopolo should be ashamed — even though he swears he 'accidentally' ate a pot brownie.

Olympic Controversy! 8 Athletes EXPELLED!

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueSad SadOlympics

Of alllllll the Olympic sports out there, the one we'd think would have the smallest chance of having a controversy would be harmless little badminton.

That's not the case.

Eight female badminton players are to be EXPELLED from the games for trying to lose matches to receive a more favorable draw.

They were found guilty of "not using one's best efforts to win a match" and "conducting oneself in a manner that is clearly abusive or detrimental to the sport."

Lame!

Apparently this has become a problem since they switched to qualifying rounds instead of just elimination rounds.

Why are people always looking for a way to cheat??

Check out the press conference (above)!

UPDATE: It would appear that it's official now. NBC tweeted that the International Olympic Committee has officially "laid the smack down" (our words; not theirs) and expelled eight badminton players from the Olympics!

How shameful.

Cheaters never prosper!
