Man Charged With Murder After Backing Out Of Suicide Pact With Girlfriend At The Last Minute

This is just sad whichever way you look at it.

A couple from Mont Clare, Pennsylvania made a suicide pact back in December that left only one of the pair dead — and the other charged with their murder.

Anthony Noble, 27, and Joette Mullen, 27, had agreed to kill themselves by cocaine overdoses right outside of Philadelphia on December 14, but only the latter actually OD'd.

Apparently, once Anthony gave his girlfriend her lethal dosage, he became scared and chose to live… but it was too late for Joette.

The young woman's body was found inside a parked car.

The preliminary hearing begins January 29; prosecutors are charging Noble with Mullen's death as he knowingly injected her with the cocaine that killed her.

So sad. But we have to ask…

Do YOU think he should be charged with murder?

What a relief for Lamar!

The good news just keeps coming for Lamar Odom!

Sources say the Nye County District Attorney will NOT be slapping the 36-year-old with drug possession charges after his scary overdose last year.

After he was found unconscious at a legal Nevada brothel in October, blood tests revealed that the ailing athlete had cocaine in his system.

At the time, the county sheriff suggested that the sports star be prosecuted for having the narcotics, but has since decided to call off the case.

It turns out that law enforcement officials rarely press drug charges when the user ends up in the hospital.

And since the OD almost killed him, the famous father had remained in medical facilities up until last week when he was released and moved to a private rehab.

Insiders explain that the D.A. will formally reject the charges this week. We're so happy that Lamar doesn't have to worry about any criminal repercussions and can just focus on getting better!

So sad.

This is just terrible.

On Thursday night, Scott Weiland was found dead on his tour bus, after going into cardiac arrest. The 48-year-old was on the road in Minnesota with his current group, Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts.

On Friday, authorities arrested the musician's bandmate Tommy Black for cocaine possession. Police say there was a small amount of the substance in the room where the singer's body was found, as well as in the guitarist's portion of the bus.

Sources had said there were drugs in the vehicle at the time Scott passed, causing speculation to surface that the former frontman for the Stone Temple Pilots had died of an overdose.

However, the artist's wife, Jamie Wachtel, insists her husband hadn't been using drugs for quite a while.

The late musician's bandmate faces a 5th-degree felony charge. Our hearts are with everyone affected during this tough time.

In fact, the insider explains that the actor requires his guests to sign a confidentiality agreement before entering his house, saying:

"He has a full security team. So when he has girls come over you start out in the garage - that's where the command post is with the security team. You have to sign a non-disclosure agreement, you have to leave your cell phones and then you can actually enter the house."

The source also admits that the Anger Management alum is supposedly struggling with serious drug use, adding:

"Charlie's been smoking crack since at least 2010. This hasn't slowed down since then - he's still active."

On Monday, reports began to circulate that the Two and a Half Men star will open up to Matt Lauer during the Today Show on Tuesday about having HIV.

The director mentions that, while the actor looks like he's not in the best health, he believes that is because of substance abuse, commenting:

Sheriff Wants To Prosecute Lamar Odom For Using Cocaine At The Love Ranch — But Will He Face Jail Time?

Lamar could face criminal charges.

It looks like law enforcement wants Lamar Odom to face legal repercussions for doing drugs while at a legal Nevada brothel earlier this month.

Two weeks ago, the 35-year-old was found unconscious at Love Ranch in Pahrump, after an apparent overdose. On Monday, it was revealed that the NBA forward had cocaine in his blood at the time.

Now — while the sports star is recovering from supposed organ failure and multiple strokes — the Nye County Sheriff's Office is suggesting that the ailing athlete be criminally charged for his illegal activity.

Sources say the department is sending the basketball player's blood test results to the District Attorney, who they hope will prosecute Khloé Kardashian's husband for using cocaine at the establishment.

After releasing the 9-1-1 calls earlier this month, the Sheriff had said it would be "distinctly possible" that the famous father would be charged if he tested positive for narcotics.

In Nevada, the felony could result in up to four years behind bars. Do you think Lamar should go to prison?
