Ronda Rousey Thinking She's Being Asked About Time Travel Is One Of The Most Painfully Awkward Celeb Interviews EVER!

Filed under: TV NewsWacky, Tacky & TrueMMARonda Rousey

Ronda Rousey does not have the ability to go back in time. She's also not great at comprehending poorly-phrased questions during live TV interviews.

Both facts were established on Tuesday when the UFC alum and soon-to-be WWE superstar made things awkward when chatting about her career with ESPN's Mike Golic.

The Golic and Wingo host tripped on his wording a bit while trying to ask the athlete if she'd ever go back, in time, and fight in the MMA competition — but the commas were lost on Rousey's end of the via-satellite conversation.

Devastatingly, the athlete thought Golic was asking her if she could "go back in time," and spat out a few smug responses as Golic was trying to explain what he actually meant. He was able to, in time.

You know it's 2017 when not one, but TWO jobs are threatened over a single tweet!

The Democratic Coalition, an anti-Trump Super PAC, has filed an ethics complaint against Sarah Huckabee Sanders with the Office of Government Ethics for basically calling for ESPN host Jemele Hill to be fired.

The drama began when Hill called Donald Trump a "white supremacist" in a tweet earlier this week — which, to no one's surprise, ignited a strong response from Trump's Twitter-conscious administration.

When asked about the name-calling during a White House press briefing on Wednesday, Huckabee Sanders called Hill's criticism of POTUS a "fireable offense by ESPN."

Well, that's when The Democratic Coalition decided to step in and let the Press Secretary know that if anyone should be fired — it should be her! Why? Because it's illegal for her to speak out on employment decisions purely based on politics!

Coalition Chairman Jon Cooper explained in a statement:

ESPN's Jemele Hill Addresses 'The Elephant In The Room' After The White House Called For Her Firing Over Trump Comments!

Jemele Hill

We're with you, Jemele Hill!

As we reported yesterday, everyone was talking about the ESPN anchor after a string of tweets where she called out Donald Trump for being a "white supremacist" and a "bigot." Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders later said Hill's actions were a "fireable offense."

Obviously people can share their opinions on Twitter. The controversy here is whether or not Jemele's tweets reflect the views of the sports network.

ESPN Stirs More Controversy By Pulling Broadcaster Robert Lee Off UVA Game Because Of His Name & Twitter Has A LOT Of Feelings!

ESPN comes under fire again!

ESPN is facing a PR nightmare!

Not long after they came under fire for a controversial fantasy football sketch following the Charlottesville violence, they're facing way more heat for their latest decision.

It's been revealed the sports network decided to pull broadcaster Robert Lee off the September 2 University of Virginia college football game in Charlottesville because of his name's similarity to Robert E. Lee, the Confederate general.

After the news leaked, ESPN released a statement via spokesman Derek Volner:

"We collectively made the decision with Robert to switch games as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name. In that moment it felt right to all parties. It's a shame that this is even a topic of conversation and we regret that who calls play by play for a football game has become an issue."

ICYMI: ESPN Airs Controversial Fantasy Football Sketch Resembling A Slave Auction & This NFL Star Is ‘Speechless’

This is so messed up!

ESPN is coming under fire after airing a controversial fantasy football sketch on Monday!

In case you missed it, the Disney-owned sports network put up a clip of a white man auctioning off football players, like Odell Beckham Jr. (above), to the highest bidders.

The bidders were a predominantly white crowd… so it's not hard to see why people are calling out ESPN for a segment that looked like a slave auction!

The Bachelorette couple is SO in love, in fact, that they're super supportive of each other literally all the time, and NEED the world to know!

On Monday, the former football player began his first day at ESPN's SEC Network, and took to Instagram to commemorate the exciting endeavor (that he totally earned based on merit and NOT his reality TV fame)!

The 27-year-old shared this snap (above) of himself behind the SEC desk, and captioned the shot:

"Fun day back in the SEC, much easier without 100k screaming fans and giant angry men trying to kill me…but only slightly. Tune in to SEC NOW live tomorrow!"

And, naturally, Miz Fletcher had to publicly show her support — after all, they are completely, genuinely in love with each other — for her man, posting:
