Kate Plus Eight star/mom Kate Gosselin hasn't stopped dreaming of ways for a cable network to give her money.
Since her show was canceled late last year, the (now) single mother of eight has decided that putting her children on TV's newest child-exploiting reality series will get her her family back in the spotlight.
We sprung our clocks ahead this past weekend for Daylight Savings and now it's time to REALLY get ready for springtime!!
Luckily, we have Lifetime's The Picker Sisters and ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover: Home Edition's lifestyle expert Tanya McQueen to help us out with our spring planting! What better way to bring in the change of season than with a beautiful garden of flowers?!
Lifetime exec Rob Sharenow said the following on the new series:
From the first moment she was thrust into the public eye, Bristol and her son have been the subjects of a huge amount of curiosity and misunderstanding.
This show will reveal the real Bristol Palin and her journey as a daughter, a mother and a young woman making her way in the world.
We can kind of see where he's coming from, but trying to milk your 15 minutes of fame (unsuccessfully) comes with its own consequences.
Associated Television International will produce the show after they tried to create a reality TV tag team of Bristol and Kyle Massey before Bristol's decision to go back home.
In case you haven't seen Dance Moms yet, it's this ridiculous reality show on Lifetime, which follows an overbearing dance teacher who relishes in screaming at little girls and dishing out nasty comments to their mothers.
So, what does Chelsea Handler have to say about this guilty pleasure?
LOL, oh, um, A LOT! Watch her take on the reality show above!
The people behind the popular Lifetime show Dance Moms is out for blood again with a new spin-off called Ice Moms.
The producers are already developing another spin-off Dance Moms: Miami, but this time they're hitting up a whole new genre: ice skating.
The show will revolved around figure skating coaches Laurie Vigilante and Adam Schmidt who periodically get into fights with the parents of the students as they're pushed to become champions.
Hmm, sound familiar?
Lifetime Networks VP Exec of Programming Rob Sharenow confirmed the news, saying:
"Now, we’re bringing the format to the intensely competitive world of figure skating and revealing the explosive dynamic between the kids, parents and coaches who all want to be the best. We’ll show all the blood, sweat and tears it takes to be a champion on ice."
Blood, sweat and tears is right! Have you seen the fights these moms get into on Dance Moms?? They're ruthless! And obvsies, we're going to be watching…
First of all, let's address the fact that Lifetime has debuted their American Supernanny and her name is Deborah Tillman.
Of course, we miss Jo Frost, and the show will never be the same, but we have a feeling we're going to like nanny Deborah too.
So, the new American Supernanny visited a two-mom family, Mandy Sheckles and her partner Amy Paul.
The couple has six biological children, all conceived through donated sperm - the last four children were quads!
Whoa!
Even though they run three daycares in Virginia, they have a lot on their plate raising six children at home. Amy takes care of the kids while Mandy was busy working all day and attached to her cellphone, which distracted her from helping out with the kids.
Using her effective parenting skills, Deborah helped the women to understand techniques that would help them get a better control of their children, especially when it came to bedtime and dinner time.
Just like any family, whether the parents are gay or straight, raising children is just as equally challenging no matter what. This episode helped to prove that all parents have the same issues regardless of their sexuality.
Besides MTV, Lifetime is second in line in teen pregnancy content.
On the heels of last year's original movie Pregnancy Pact, the network has greenlighted another original movie called The Pregnancy Project.
The movie, which will star Spy Kids' Alexa Vega, is based on the true story of 17-year-old high school student Gaby Rodriguez who pretended to be pregnant as an experiment on social stereotypes and the treatment of pregnant teens in high school!
Oooh, how interesting!
The movie will be written by Teena Booth, who also co-wrote Pregnancy Pact.
Not gonna lie, we fully enjoyed The Pregnancy Pact so we're looking forward to another teen drama on Lifetime.
Kanye West may not have been having the best week - between the gay rumors, his latest temper tantrum, and a bruised up Lamborghini - but we have a feeling that with this weekend, all of that's about to change!
The sometimes-volatile yet supremely talented rapper has been hard at work recording his new album in Paris, and apparently, has few very creative, larger than life tricks up his sleeve for how he's going to begin its promotional campaign!
Which, of course, started last night, when he projected a video of himself performing his brand new single, New Slaves, onto the sides of 66 BUILDINGS LOCATED ALL OVER THE WORLD!
Ch-ch-check out to what the folks of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, were treated on the corner of Bedford and N. 7 (above)!
