5SOS Takes A Cue From The Dixie Chicks For Their Nakey Rolling Stone Cover! Who Did It Better?

We’re having a bad case of deja-v├â┬║!
On Saturday, Rolling Stone released their latest cover featuring 5 Seconds of Summer NAKED. While the cover shot is scandalous enough, we couldn’t help but notice it totally channeled the Dixie Chicks 1993 Entertainment Weekly spread.

For those who don’t know, EW decided to feature the iconic group after they sparked a TON of controversy for calling out George W. Bush‘s decision to engage in the Iraq War. At the time of the cover’s publication, the singers were at the height of their scandal.

Now it looks like 5SOS is channeling this iconic moment themselves! Though we’re not sure what political controversy they’ve been apart of EVER…
