7-Eleven Goes Vegan!

7-Eleven provides new food items in NYC for vegans

We have some convenient news for vegans!

All-night convenience chain 7-Eleven has decided to add artichoke spinach noodles, vegetable lo mein and two types of dumplings – all minus meat, egg or dairy – to their famous line-up of hot dogs and Slurpees.

Right now they are doing a test-run with the $6 items in New York City and if successful, will expand to the rest of the United States.

The company’s director of corporate communications, Margaret Chabris, said:

“There was demand in the New York and Philadelphia area, not only from our customers but from our our employees and franchisees, some of whom are vegetarians.”

What do all of our vegan readers think of the 7-Eleven’s vegan initiative?

Do U trust the Sev to provide tasty, vegan treats or will U stick to the grocery store?
