Ashanti was unnecessarily overdressed at the 2011 BET Awards this weekend.
While the majority of the guests were wearing more casual outfits, the sometimes singer decided to wear a Jean Fares Couture gown.
Really, Ashanti?
This is the BET Awards, not the Grammys.
Wearing an embellished gown like that makes you look like you’re trying too hard!
