It’s weird when Fox News gets something right, but we’ll totally give credit where credit’s due!!
Check out this interview with a health “expert” who has issues with Kelly Clarkson and Adele‘s weight (above). We LOVE that the host calls her out!!
Listen to us right now: you can assume all you want about these two BEAUTIFUL ladies’ health, but you can never really know how “healthy” they are until you talk to their doctors. Body shapes and sizes vary between everyone, so just visually trying to compare them to anyone else (including yourself, being as thin as you are… and who’s to say you’re any healthier?) is awful!!
ESPECIALLY when you talk about responsibility to teach our young generations proper health techniques and using your responsibility of being in a position to do it — how is it good to judge someone on their appearance like this, without knowing anything about the person at all? What is THAT teaching our kids??
We think the Fox News anchor hits the nail on the head when he implies there’s some sort of personal issue when you’re against seeing someone that’s a bigger size (not necessarily any less healthy) get accolades for doing incredible things unrelated to how they look!
It’s some bullshizz and we APPLAUD Fox for standing up for them, even if they’re badass enough to not need it!
Congrats on your wins, Kelly and Adele! You guys are FAB women and amazing role models, no matter what this lady says!!
