MSNBC knows who Alec Baldwin is, right?
The struggling cable network is giving AB his own show in two weeks and today they released their first promo for the two-time Emmy winner, touting him as:
“….a man who will address the great issues of our time while keeping his emotions in check.”
Ha!
Clearly poking fun at the actor’s penchant for public outbursts, fellow MSNBC personality Ed Schultz is seen on camera describing Alec as pretty much everything he is NOT, saying Baldwin:
“…values reason over passion and provides a soothing voice for these troubled times.”
A grinning Baldwin pokes his head into frame at the end and puts his arms around Schultz’s shoulders!
Well, you’ve gotta have attitude if you want to succeed on cable news! Alec Baldwin might just be the solution MSNBC is looking for!
