A-Rod Removed From Animated Family Film!

Womp womp.

Alex Rodriguez may be able to keep playing baseball for the time being, but this whole PEDs scandal has taken a toll on his public image.

Things have gotten so bad that he’s been edited out of an animated film which previously included his likeness and voice.

The Yankees player only had a few lines in 49 scenes of the one-hour film Henry and Me, but the creators have still decided that even this limited exposure will hurt the flick’s marketability.

In the film, A-Rod hits a homer for a boy who had cancer and then goes to visit him in the hospital.

The Yanks have backed the film, and so in exchange for the scandalous slugger, they’ll use the likeness of Hideki Matsui.

The producer of the film said that it will set them back months and “cost a fortune,” but clearly not as much as they stand to lose if they were to keep A-Rod in the picture.

And sadder still is that now Alex won’t have his voice in the same movie as Richard Gere, Cyndi Lauper and Paul Simon.

But he’s still a megamillionaire so whatevs!
