After speculation that Blake Shelton would receive this year’s honor, it’s now been confirmed that… he did!

When The Voice judge found out about his cover, he thought:

Most importantly, co-judge (and 2013’s Sexiest Man Alive) Adam Levine is going to be SO jealous! Blake jokes:
“I can’t wait to shove this up Adam’s ass… As proud as I am and honored that you guys asked me, that’s really the only thing I care about.”
Although he claims he has been “ugly my whole life,” girlfriend Gwen Stefani encouraged him to own his new sexy title:
