Brad Pitt Got To See His Kids For His Birthday!

Brad Pitt got the best birthday present of all this week — precious time with his kids!

The Oscar winner turned 56 years old on Wednesday (we know, WTF, right??), and he spent it the way you might expect a sexy multimillionaire movie star to — no, not on a yacht with models. That’s a different Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor.

He had a relaxing day at home with 13-year-old Shiloh and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne (above, inset), his children with ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

A source told E! News:

“Brad spent the day at his home in Hollywood… His younger kids stopped by for a visit.”

The eyewitness added how the the little ones stayed for a bit but then left with their bodyguard and headed “straight back to Angelina’s house.”

Obviously the elder children did not attend. Brad’s relationships with 16-year-old Pax and 18-year-old Maddox have seemingly been strained to the point of nonexistence since his split with their mom. Things reportedly came to a head between Maddox and Brad during a now infamous fight on a plane. Since then the teen “hasn’t been receptive” to efforts by Brad or Angie to repair the relationship.

It’s unclear where he stands with 14-year-old Zahara, but it would appear she may also be on #TeamMaddox as we haven’t heard of her spending any time with her adoptive father.

Curiously, it’s only Brad’s biological kids who seem to still be on friendly terms with him. Hmm…

This won’t be his only time with the kids he does get to see. An insider explained a few days ago the arrangement with Angie allows for visits on Brad’s birthday and on Christmas Eve a week later. The source elaborated:

“It’s the same arrangement they have had recently. The kids will come over to Brad’s house and spend the day with him. They have some traditions where they eat and exchange gifts. They play music and just hang out. Brad always wants to make it special for them and loves to see the excitement in their eyes. He tries to get them thoughtful gifts and something for them to experience. The most important thing is just being together and being a family. He’s excited to see them and have them be with him at home. That’s really the only thing he wants.”

Aw. Something so many fathers probably take for granted.
