Butterball, Twinkies, & Wonder Bread To Use Less Salt

We love when companies make positive choices for society without being forced to do so!

The makers of Butterball turkey, Twinkies, and Wonder Bread have decided to use less salt in certain products as a part of a national campaign against high blood pressure. They plan to cut salt by 25% over the next five years.

This is a positive move because while everyone needs some salt, most Americans consume double the recommended daily amount.

Too much salt can lead to high blood pressure!
