Well, this is a little awkward!!
On Friday, Chlo├â┬½ Grace Moretz was unveiled to be Teen Vogue‘s October/November Young Hollywood cover star, and it looks like none other than now-ex boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham joins her on the cover.

That or just an insanely good body double!
In case you didn’t know, it was revealed earlier this month that the couple reportedly went their separate ways. Is it possible the two didn’t actually split??
While you ponder that, the 19-year-old made no mention of the famous offspring when she posted the exciting news to her Instagram today, but she did write:
“Couldn’t be happier to be your @TVYoungHollywood cover girl again !! @teenvogue beautiful story shot by@bruce_weber 🙂 (Check out the full story by clicking the link in my bio!)”
Inside the glossy for her interview with mentor Julianne Moore though, there was plenty of Brooklyn talk. Yikes!
Talking about growing up in the public eye, she confessed:
“I’d be foolish to say that it hasn’t been hard as a young woman who is trying to calculate her own personal ideas in terms of politics or how she wants to use her voice for the betterment of society. Those things have been difficult because society doesn’t really want you to be smart, put together, and well rounded. They want a story. They want a tabloid. Especially right now, in my newer relationship with my boyfriend [Brooklyn Beckham]. We’ll go out and there will be 15 paparazzi and we’re just going to a grocery store. We are real people and we’re having real emotional experiences, and all this is happening around us. Trying to keep ourselves in our own little world is difficult.”
And when asked if they’ve ever worked together of if they ever would:
“I would definitely be more than happy to be shot by him any day. He’s grown up understanding a lot of the artistic sides of different industries, from his mom’s to his dad’s to now his own as an artist.”
Aww.
That wasn’t even the last of it, sadly! Julianne also asked Chlo├â┬½ about what it’s like to be in a long-distance relationship with the Beckham… which must be super awk in hindsight:
“You know as well as I do that it feels like everything in this industry is a long-distance relationship. Seeing my brothers is a long-distance relationship ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ every day when I’m not in L.A., I’m texting them and calling them and making myself a part of their lives. I’m reminding them that I may be gone for six months but I’m here, and I care, and I’m a part of the family, and I love them. So getting into a relationship with someone who also has lived some of their life between cities, from L.A. to New York to London, is easier. We both understand that there will be times when we can’t speak because we are too busy. Some of it is just based on trust. If you feel that you can trust each other and go eight hours without talking, then you have something that can withstand space and time.”
Maybe there’s a possibility the two will get back together!
Luckily for the Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising actress, it wasn’t all boyfriend talk for the glossy. In what could be another slight to Kim Kardashian West, the starlet explained about social media:
“I remember when I first got Twitter when I was 11 years old and learning what selfies are and realizing when I was 15 that when my friends posted a photo of themselves in a bikini they got triple the amount of likes. I think it’s definitely been hard to decide what I want to show. People will post a lot and then they’ll complain about X, Y, and Z happening, and it’s hard to say they’re allowed to complain if they’re posting that much. You have to be very aware of what you’re putting out there on social media and how you’re portraying yourself. And don’t get caught up in the idea that it’s just for fun.”
