Coffee has confused nutritionists for years, but more and more evidence suggests that it’s good for you (in moderation).
A recent study found that drinking coffee may reduce the risk of stroke in women.
The study spanned 10 years and found that women who drank one cup of coffee daily had a 22% to 25% lowered risk of stroke.
Said lead author, Susanna Larsson:
“Some women have avoided consuming coffee because they have thought it is unhealthy. In fact, increasing evidence indicates that moderate coffee consumption may decrease the risk of some diseases such as diabetes, liver cancer and possibly stroke.”
Don├óΓé¼Γäót take this study to mean you should start chugging coffee — but feel free to start stopping at Starbucks if you don├óΓé¼Γäót do so normally!
