Crystal Hefner Says Holly Madison & Bridget Marquardt Are Trying To 'Sabotage' Her Using Hugh Hefner's Son!

Crystal Hefner Feud Holly Madison Bridget Marquardt Son Podcast

Crystal Hefner is hitting back at claims made on Bridget Marquardt and Holly Madison‘s podcast! The feud is BACK ON!

If you missed it, Hugh Hefner‘s son Marston appeared on last week’s Girls Next Level podcast and made several disturbing claims about his stepmother. He called Crystal a “master manipulator.” He alleged his father was “dosed with f**king medication” and pushed to change his will when he was mentally incapacitated before his death in 2017.

The harsh comments have now reignited the old feud between the former Playboy Playmates!

On Wednesday, Crystal told Us Weekly she blames Holly and Bridget. She thinks they’re trying to “sabotage” her by targeting her on the podcast, attempting to “pull apart [her] life.” She challenged:

“If I have a problem with someone, I’ll go to the person and talk to them. Obviously they just want attention.”

Oof. She’s especially pissed off because she thought she was on good terms with Marston, who was a guest on her former podcast just last year. But it turns out there was more to his side of the story!

Addressing the feud, a source told the outlet Crystal, Holly, and Bridget “have never been friends,” adding:

“Holly automatically hated Crystal. … It’s like a witch hunt against her.”

After Holly and Hugh split in 2008, Crystal took over as his main GF (and eventually married him), creating a big rift between the women of The Girls Next Door. Since the show ended in 2010, they’ve each individually claimed the reality series purposefully created problems between them — though it seems like they’re doing just fine keeping that feud alive on their own. Addressing what they first fought about, the source recalled:

“Their initial feud was over status at the Mansion. Holly wanted to be Mrs. Hefner so badly. She was bitter.”

But ultimately Crystal married Hef and gained a ton of “control and power” at the famed mansion. Kimberley Conrad‘s son claimed the widower had the final say over the guest list for parties, banishing some longtime guests. A second insider claimed:

“Crystal was a true wife of the house, she had a lot of say and she could call the shots.”

But the first source isn’t so sure about this, arguing budget cuts at Playboy caused Hugh’s inner circle to get smaller. Hmm…

Crystal, meanwhile, says she never had any control. She now contends her late husband was “king of the castle [and] whoever he wanted to see, that’s who he was around.” She explained:

“Sometimes when a woman speaks up, she’s called harsh — especially by people who no longer benefit from her staying quiet — and controlling by people who can no longer control her.”

As for allegations she invited strangers to the media mogul’s funeral, she clapped back:

“I invited his close friends and his office. I’m the one who watched Hugh die; they didn’t. Marston came by, but [his kids] weren’t with him 24-7. […] I was married to him. I was closest to Hef.”

The Only Say Good Things author then hit back at the altered will allegations, noting Hef had an estate attorney to protect him, saying:

“Whatever Hef decided to do or change, that’s up to him.”

The 38-year-old also suggested she’d never have “dosed” her late husband with medications, as claimed, because she didn’t even take prescription meds:

“I try not to. If I don’t feel well, I’ll take supplements. I am against all of it. So I wanted him to be on as least as possible of any of that type of thing.”

And, unlike her stepson, she doesn’t think Hef was slipping in his later years at all, calling him “very sharp” to the end:

“I mean, it’s sad to discredit this person that has one of the highest IQs in the world and just created this entire empire. And then saying that he’s not credible, it’s like nothing got past him.”

So why does she think Marston is saying all of this, even speaking ill of his own father? Crystal mused:

“I feel that obviously he has a lot of pain and hurt still from the relationship or lack thereof with his father. And there are some things I think he’s trying to heal or get answers to that he’s realizing may never be answered. So maybe he’s filling in the blanks themselves.”

Crystal has since spoken to Marston after the podcast. She claims he’s “backpedaled” on certain claims he made. He also supposedly told her his statements were taken out of context. Understanding he is still unpacking trauma from his relationship with his dad, she’s not holding his comments against him, adding:

“I still see him as family. […] Obviously, he has a lot of pain and hurt.”

The same goes for Holly and Bridget, whom she claimed to have no hard feelings for and actually hopes to be friends with one day. Really?? She mused:

“I hope we can all heal and get along. I don’t hold grudges. When you’re happy and feeling good, you don’t wish any ill will toward anyone.”

After all this time, it actually would be nice if they could all get along! We’re sure they have a lot of horror stories they could bond over! But it’s hard to imagine they will when they keep finding reasons to reignite this feud…
