Ooh, Denny’s is coming for all you bindi and headdress-wearing Coachella attendees!
We’re looking at you, Vanessa Hudgens and Alessandra Ambrosio! And, to be fair, a ton of other celebs.
It seems like stars still haven’t received the memo about not wearing another culture as a costume, and several of them quite blatantly wore bindis at the festival, including Vanessa, Kendall Jenner, and Sarah Hyland.
Come on, girls! You should know better by now! Kendall was even spotted hanging with Selena Gomez, who got all kinds of flack for wearing bindis during her Come And Get It performance last year!
You’d think Selenita would’ve warned her!
And before she even went to Coachella, Alessandra posted a photo of herself in a feathered headdress and wrote:
“Becoming more inspired for @coachella with this amazing Native American headpiece @jacquieaiche #feathers #festival #coachella #foreveronvacation #inspiration #cocar”
Needless to say, they all got called out by Denny’s in a tweet that managed to both promote the diner AND raise awareness of cultural appropriation!
Not bad! Their food’s pretty good too!
