Flying Snake Coming Through!

Yikes!

The Washington Post recently reported that the Department of Defense has a new pet project!

They have been funding the research into a snake in Asia that can slither through the air. This snake falls from a tree to pick up speed then goes on to flatten itself into twice its normal width and curving to catch the air!!

By catching air it can then land at a spot up to 780 feet away!

The snakes are known to be slightly venomous but not enough to really harm humans.

OMG! We had never thought about a flying snake before. Watch your head!!
