Dog the Bounty Hunter might have to keep his kids on a tighter leash, because his daughter Lyssa Chapman was just arrested in Hawaii for alleged harassment!
According to TMZ, the 32-year-old was cuffed in Honolulu Thursday night and booked for harassment and resisting arrest. But Lyssa tells a different story, and is accusing the cops who arrested her of misconduct.

Dog’s daughter told the outlet that police were called in response to a fight she was having with her girlfriend Leiana. Lyssa claims when officers arrived, she put up her hand in order to stop them from entering her room — but the cop allegedly grabbed her by the arm and arrested her.
She’s already bailed out for $600, and plans on filing a report for police misconduct against the officers.
The arrest comes amid an already difficult time for the Chapman family, who are said to be going through turmoil in the months following the death of Dog’s (real name Duane Chapman) wife Beth Chapman. As we reported, the family is said to be at odds with each other over Dog’s relationship with Moon Angell, Beth’s former assistant, friend, and maid of honor at their wedding.
Dog has been so desperate for companionship, he actually popped the question to Moon on The Dr. Oz Show. While the proposal hasn’t yet let to an engagement, Dog’s kids have made it clear they don’t trust Moon’s motives and believe their mom wouldn’t approve either.

Lyssa has been particularly vocal with her opinions on the subject. She previously called Moon out on Twitter, writing:
“If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your step-mom died what would you do?. If you went to your mothers closet and saw she moved all her clothes and replaced them with her own, what would you do.”
In a separate, angrier tweet, she wrote:
“You’re disgusting woman. Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a ‘friend’ to, Is the lowest scum on the planet-Which for you wasn’t that far of a step down from where you were before. God will get you MARY !!!”
Following the on-air proposal, however, Lyssa stayed relatively silent on social media, only allowing herself to post a few cryptic, biting-my-tongue tweets.
Let’s hope she’s able to keep her cool during this new legal drama!
