Frances Bean Cobain Has To Give Up Dad Kurt Cobain's Famous Guitar In Divorce Settlement

no title
The divorce might be finally settled, but Frances Bean Cobain had to make one huge sacrifice.
The 25-year-old finalized her divorce to ex Isaiah Silva on Monday, but was forced to give up her father Kurt Cobain‘s iconic Martin guitar that he played during his MTV Unplugged performance in November 1993. The legendary rocker died the following year of apparent suicide.

The instrument has been a big source of contention ever since the divorce began back in March of 2016, just 21 months after the couple wed. Silva insisted the visual artist gifted it to him as a present, which she denied doing.
Despite Frances Bean’s request to keep the guitar (which is worth a hefty sum of money) in the family, it will now go to Silva as a result of the proceedings.
On the flip side, though, Courtney Love‘s daughter will not have to pay any spousal support (Silva had requested $25k a month) and she can keep the couple’s home, so that is some good news for her.
Hopefully this mess is finally over and they can move on!
