Game Of Thrones Author George R.R. Martin Explains Why There's Less Gay Sex In The Books!

Who knew sci-fi lovers were such horn dogs!!
The definite lack of gay sex and bisexuality in George R.R. Martin‘s Song of Ice and Fire book series has been widely discussed, but never answered.
So now, the author is revealing exactly why that’s the case — and we have a feeling it’s going to make fans even MORE pissy!
While speaking at the Edinburgh International Book Festival on Monday night, George said he faces certain limitations, because he’s writing through “viewpoint characters”…
And so far, none of them have been gay.
George revealed:

“Frankly it is the way I prefer to write fiction because that is the way all of us experience life. You’re seeing me from your viewpoint, you’re not seeing what someone over here is seeing.”

The ├â┬╝ber famous author does have a few books still left to write — and while there could be a sexuality shift somewhere along the way, he’s not sure it’s in the cards:

“I’m not going to do it just for the sake of doing it. If the plot lends itself to that ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ if one of my viewpoint characters is in a situation, then I’m not going to shy away from it ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ but you can’t just insert things because everyone wants to see them. It is not a democracy. If it was a democracy, then Joffrey would have died much earlier than he did.”

We know in the HBO series, Renly Baratheon displayed his liking for boys in multiple sex scenes — but the show is an entirely different ball game.
Perhaps the only way Game Of Thrones fans will satisfy their craving for bisexual and boy-on-boy action is through the hit drama.
We’ll remain hopeful for you, but George doesn’t seem to be budging on this one!
