Greta Thunberg, a Swedish 16-year-old and noted climate change activist, was named on Tuesday at TIME‘s Person of the Year for 2019.

Not even 24 hours after the iconic mag announced this year’s installment of their annual award, US President Donald Trump took to Twitter to voice his sarcastic, demeaning reaction to the teenager’s once-in-a-lifetime achievement.
“Chill, Greta, Chill,” the President sarcastically tweeted on Thursday morning (as you can see, below), choosing to openly mock global warming AND the Swedish youngster for winning such a prestigious and high-profile award:

(BTW: As you can see there, Trump is quote-tweeting Roma Downey — who just so happens to be famed TV producer Mark Burnett‘s wife. Burnett was the creator of the longtime Trump-hosted reality show, The Apprentice, and may be the man standing between us and footage of The Donald using the N-word on camera. Hmm…)

Almost immediately, Twitter users pointed out the strange scene of America’s 73-year-old leader bullying a teenager online. Surely this can’t be normal, can it?
One user tweeted (below):
“Just a tweet from the President of the United States attacking a 16 year old girl who gets better press than him.”
While another one followed up with more:
“This is our President mocking a kid for trying to save our planet. Some of you voted for this guy, and are going to do it again.”

Plenty of users called out Melania Trump, too, considering the First Lady hasn’t been shy about her Be Best campaign against cyberbullying. One tweet cut right to the heart of it all for the model caught in the middle:
“The President of the United States is bullying a 16-year-old. How is the #BeBest crusade going, Melania?”
Not a good look!!! After all, Melania did defend their son Barron earlier this month after a professor joked about him during an impeachment inquiry hearing. She tweeted:
“A minor child deserves privacy and should be kept out of politics. Pamela Karlan, you should be ashamed of your very angry and obviously biased public pandering, and using a child to do it.”
