Some people really are better as friends!
While things didn’t work out romantically for Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, they actually are still really good friends, which isn’t something a lot of former flames can honestly say!

But the Coldplay frontman opened up to Ryan Seacrest about his breakup with the blonde beauty, and explained why they didn’t cut off communication, saying:
“Just because a romantic relationship ends doesn’t mean that the other facets of your relationship have to end. Or, indeed, doesn’t mean they can’t get better.”
The rocker said the exes “have tried really hard” to make their new dynamic work, and a lot of that has to do with making their two kids comfortable. The 38-year-old added:
“I think, unfortunately, though we couldn’t stay in a romantic relationship, we’re very, our values are very much around the importance of family and the importance of those relationships and I’m lucky that we’re aligned in that way.”
We loves that these two are putting their children’s needs above all else! And we love that they’re able to stay friends and co-parent their little ones!
