TV Land Shocker! Hot In Cleveland Has Been Canceled!

We are floored by this news!
TV Land has canceled its longest running original series Hot In Cleveland!

This comes as quite a shock considering the old school sitcom, featuring the comedic talents of Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Malick, was once a huge hit for the network.
Not only did the series premiere to stellar ratings, it even had enough to go around, spinning off the Cedric The Entertainer series The Soul Man.
To their credit, TV Land seemed to drop the axe with a sense of reverence. In their official statement, the network said:

“After five incredible seasons of Hot in Cleveland, the sixth season, currently in production, will be its last. It’s been an honor to work with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the incomparable Betty White as well as our executive producers Suzanne Martin, Todd Milliner, Sean Hayes and the rest of our exceptional writers, production team and crew. The passion and talent they brought to the set each and every week over the past 5 years has put TV Land on the map as a network dedicated to quality original programming. We will continue to celebrate the show and are looking forward to a fantastic series finale.”
