Well, if you pocket almost $40k in invested cash, we’re pretty sure you’re gonna have enough to cover a settlement this big!!
A former Top Chef winner has been accused of keeping money for personal use — money from investors. That winner is Ilan Hall from season 2, who took $37,500 to help his restaurant called The Gorbals in downtown L.A.
Instead, he pocketed it.
We’re hearing now that he has settled the lawsuit for $25K!
Which is weird, because why wouldn’t you want to get the full amount back??
Unless that’s $25K IN ADDITION to the $37.5k he took. But we aren’t clear on those details!
