Katy Perry‘s American Idol deal is even bigger than we would have thought!
As we previously reported, the Swish Swish songstress signed on to be an American Idol judge on its new network ABC.
Now, it’s being said the 32-year-old is pocketing $25 million, according to TMZ‘s sources!

They’re reporting Katy had the upper hand when it came to negotiations as they wanted to have someone on board ahead of their ABC Upfronts! One source spilled:
“Katy had all the leverage. If ABC ended up announcing the show without a judge, they’d be screwed.”
Meanwhile, the network is still trying to sign Ryan Seacrest on, who was making $15 million at the peak of the show.
We can only imagine how much he could pull in now, but we have a feeling it won’t be near Katy’s big payday!
