Katy Perry is back!
On Friday, the American Idol judge released her new single — and accompanying music video — called Never Really Over!

As we reported in February 2019, the Teenage Dream singer and Orlando Bloom got engaged on Valentine’s Day, where they also threw a party for loved ones.
According to an ET source:
“Katy is actually notorious for having top secret parties, she has it down to an art form. She did one for Orlando’s birthday in Palm Springs and also one in Coachella, where she didn’t allow any cameras or phones into the party. She loves her privacy… When they planned this party, they only told their very closest friends it was their engagement party. Most people thought it was just a Valentine’s Day party. They finally decided it was the right time.”
Per the publication, the two have talked about getting engaged for a “long time.”
“Katy and Orlando have been looking forward to this day for a very long time and they are over the moon to embark on their lifetime commitment. They talked about an engagement even before their breakup in 2017 but Katy wasn’t ready. She just wasn’t ready at first but soon after some time away, she knew Orlando was the right man for her life.”
When the couple reunited in January 2018, they both knew it was the real deal. A People source explained:
“She was in such a bad place after her split from [ex-husband] Russell [Brand], so to be getting married again is a huge deal… After reconciling Katy has felt very secure with Orlando and they both knew it was different this time.”
In fact, “they made their relationship a priority and both of them literally flew all around the world to keep their relationship strong.”
Per the ET source, “no one is more excited than Orlando’s mother,” revealing:
“She has wanted them to tie the knot since the moment she first met Katy. She literally can’t stop talking about it, and telling all her friends.”
Additionally, the People insider said the couple will “prioritize” their plans to have children. (The actor is already a father to 8-year-old son Flynn, whom he shares with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.)
In regards to their nuptials, an Us Weekly source said the pair are “thinking about a destination wedding.”
The insider also shared that “they put in extra time to see each other and communicated” over the last few years leading up to their engagement, claiming the songstress “told some of her staff that her goal for 2019 was to invest more into her relationship with him, and that she was ready to take the next step.”
