Pregnancy is usually a time of joy, but for Kim Kardashian it’s almost like a wearing a big red target that says ‘please talk mess about me.’
While we all know how much the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star likes to wear fur, it’s only obvious that PETA would be far from pleased with her choice of clothing. So instead of just slamming her for donning dead animals, they’re now questioning her mothering skills.
The organization’s spokesperson, Wendy Wenger stated that her love for fur can be passed down to her unborn child, which is not something that they want to happen.
Wenger added:
“Children of greedy, self-absorbed parents could follow their lead or they could break away and be alienated from and disgusted by them. Kim is a commodity, she is paid to wear things like fur, a particular makeup, or to shake hands with questionable people, so she is not a good example to a child or anyone else of how to show a social conscience.
Thankfully, this child will be growing up in a time when most people know how blatantly cruel it is to buy a coat made from someone else’s skin, so there is hope.
Youngsters naturally identify and empathize with animals – so even though Kim and Kanye will undoubtedly serve as poor examples when it comes to kindness toward animals, perhaps their child will take after aunt Khloe and choose kindness by rejecting fur.”
Khloe has posed for PETA’s ‘I’d Rather Go Naked’ anti-fur campaign in the past, so we’re not surprised that they would call her out and hope that the Kimye baybay follows in her footsteps.
As for Kim and Yeezy, we highly doubt that they will stop wearing fur anytime soon, but we don’t think that attacking their parenting skills is right ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ especially because their baby isn’t even here yet!!
