Lamar Odom’s Former Teammates Tried To Help Him Before He Fled The Scene!

The thing about helping people who have a substance abuse issue is that they have to want to help themselves too.

After an unsuccessful attempt at a Kardashian intervenion, Lamar Odom’s teammates reportedly met with the athlete on Monday afternoon at an El Lay hotel.

They talked with him for three hours, and a source said:

“Lamar was sweaty and talking very fast. His hands were shaking and he couldn’t sit still. He kept pacing in the room.”

However, the talks seemed to be productive for a little while, until things went south:

“There was a bit of time it appeared that Lamar was going to admit publicly his addition and go to rehab, again. But then, he abruptly bolted from the hotel and left the premises.”

Another source added:

“One minute Lamar is agreeing that he needs help and 30 minutes later, he says he just needs to be left alone. This is extremely serious, but there is really nothing anyone can do to save Lamar unless he wants to save himself.”

Sadly, that is the truth.

It’s also not clear what exactly the drugs are that he is using. Some reports have said crack cocaine, while others are saying OxyContin, and now Ambien abuse is being added to the list.

Only Lamar knows what he will do, but his support system is so strong that we have faith he’ll help himself sooner than later.
