Damn. Not good.
Definitely not something you would ever thing the world’s more beloved road racing cyclist would be involved in.
Lance Armstrong has been officially charged by the Anti-Doping Agency. His former teammates, Floyd Landis and Tyler Hamilton, have already admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs, thus leaving Lance open to investigation in the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency’s case.
Here’s what their statement said:
“USADA can confirm that the independent three person Anti-Doping Review Board (ADRB) has conducted a full evaluation and has made a unanimous recommendation to move forward with the adjudication process in accordance with the rules,”
This is rough. We don’t think there is anyone out there who wants to hear that Lance’s record-breaking career has all been a fake.
We guess we’ll have to wait and see where this goes and what happens moving forward.
