Lily Collins Has The Wrong Instruments In New York

Lily Collins is really, really, ridiculously good-looking, but even she couldn’t pull off this ruched yellow Versace dress while promoting The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones in NYC on Monday.

The truly disappointing aspect of this outfit is how great it could have been if a few tweaks had been made. For one thing, the length is super awkward, and should’ve hit directly at or slightly above the knee.

Also, the patent leather olive green Casadei platforms clash with the neon yellow of the dress. Even boring black pumps would’ve been a better choice.

But let us end by saying that her sleek lob and ruby red lips were inspired!
