On Wednesday an animal adoption organization Help2Rehome Scotland shared a picture of what appears to be the carcass of Nessy, the Loch Ness monster!
The adoption organization took to Facebook to share:
This caused several people online to chime in with their opinions as they tweeted:

Unfortunately, Help2Rehome Scotland took to their page later in the day and clarified that the picture was of a prop for a TV show saying:
Thankfully, Nessy also denied rumors of her death later in the day on her Twitter account, saying:
