A new Love is Blind contestant is getting ROASTED for claiming she is Megan Fox‘s lookalike! Yeesh!
Season 6 of the Netflix reality show dropped on Wednesday, and within the first six episodes, plenty of hopeful romantics gathered to find love in the pods — where many got creative and tried to suss out what their mystery suitor looked like. You know, just what you’re supposed to do on a show all about falling in love sight unseen. But for this new TV star, the plan totally backfired!

Chelsea Blackwell was in the pods with her love interest Jimmy Presnell during one episode when she wondered if her man gets told he looks like a celebrity. After he insisted he had, Chelsea, a flight attendant and event planner, said many of her passengers tell her “all the time” that she looks like “one person.” Trying to play it cool, she revealed:
“It’s just because I have dark hair and blue eyes. But I don’t see it, so don’t get excited. […] It’s uh – I don’t even know if it’s MGK’s [Machine Gun Kelly’s] wife or his girlfriend.”
Jimmy immediately freaked the f**k out, though he tried to hide it, asking enthusiastically:
“Megan Fox? You’re saying you look like Megan Fox?”
Once again, his date urged:
“It’s just because I have light eyes and dark hair. That’s the only reason. There’s nothing else … at least, I’m assuming so.”
Whether or not she meant for it, the comment served as a clever tactic to give her a leg up over Jimmy’s other date — cause he was immediately turned on! He teased:
“I mean … can we get married?”
LOLz!
They went on to get engaged — and fans quickly assumed Presnell was disappointed that his new fiancée looked “nothing” like the Jennifer’s Body actress. Chelsea even tried to get his take on her appearance, asking if she was what he expected, and he even admitted to feeling tricked, opening up in a confessional:
“She definitely lied to me about some, uh, how she looked. Chelsea told me she looked like Megan Fox. At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter. I am very attracted to her. I can work with that.”
And it’s true! Chelsea’s a catch! She had NO reason to lie about her appearance and perhaps would’ve been better to keep it a secret. She would’ve avoided a TON of backlash, that’s for sure! While watching, viewers took to X (Twitter) to complain about the Megan Fox of it all, writing:
“When she said Megan fox I GASPED”
“more like Megan Faux”
“Love Is Blind and apparently so is she.”
“Megan Fox gotta send Love is Blind a seize and desist. How are people so comfortable saying they look like her?

“I swear his deciding factor was that she looked like Megan Fox

he even brings it up later like he thought about it the whole time.”Oof!!!
Thankfully, she did have some supporters sticking up for the comparison, chiming in:
“From the nose up they really do look alike i think”
“She does look like her!”
Even season 4 star Micah Lussier agreed with it, to some degree, saying on TikTok:
“I one hundred percent bet that she’s gotten multiple times that she looks like Megan Fox. Because in certain angles, her eyes and certain features that she has, [she] literally looks like Megan Fox.”
Either way, Micah told haters to “stop dragging” the woman and to “get off her f**king back.” See it all (below):

Innerestingly, Chelsea’s already clapped back at the drama in an interview with Access Hollywood on Saturday — in which she laughed off the hate, explaining:
“I am getting dragged through the trenches right now for that comment, because of Jimmy. Little s**t.”
As for the BTS details about the scene, she added:
“What they didn’t show is, right before that, he was like, ‘Yeah, I look like [NFL star] Christian McCaffrey.’ And I have no idea who that is. So they only showed me telling him, ‘Yeah, I get this on the plane often. I get Katy Perry, Adele and Megan Fox.’ I’m just like, ‘I don’t see it, but it’s something I get.’ I did not expect him to react like that.”

Still probably wasn’t the best thing to say in this kinda show, but hey, she shot her shot — and it worked out since they walked out of the pods together!
