Plot twist!
While most Making a Murderer fans have already made up their minds about who they think killed Teresa Halbach, one detective-turned-author has his own theory regarding the murderer’s identity.
In fact, former Great Falls Police Detective John Cameron thinks the Zodiac Killer is responsible for Teresa’s death and actually framed Steven Avery!

It’s Me: Edward Wayne Edwards, the Serial Killer You Never Heard Of is all about John’s belief that a man named Ed Edwards was behind the deaths of JonBenet Ramsey, Laci Peterson, and all 37 killings attributed to Zodiac.
However, after watching the Netflix docu-series for the first time, the author quickly noticed some similarities to Ed’s other murders, saying:
“By the fourth episode, the prosecutor said that [Teresa] had been killed by rope, by knife, by gun and by fire, and I couldn’t believe what I was hearing because that is what Ed Edwards killed by. I had all of the information of Ed already in my head from my book and it played out in that documentary. Every scene.”

John went on to note that he believes there must be a cryptic letter from the real killer somewhere in court documents and that he thinks he may have even seen Ed standing around the courthouse during one of the episodes!
