A Man Has A Heart Attack...At The Heart Attack Grill

While our condolences go out to the injured man, we can’t exactly say we’re surprised!
Last Spring we heard about a restaurant that serves meals containing upwards of 8,000 calories and glorifies obesity by offering free meals to patrons who are OVER 350 pounds. It’s called the Heart Attack Grill and at a location recently opened in Las Vegas, one customer lived up to the eatery’s name and had a heart attack!
Ironically enough, the “patient” — as the customers are referred to at the restaurant by the “nurses” who serve them — was eating the Triple Bypass burger when he felt severe chest pains and had to be wheeled out by paramedics.
The owner of the controversial burger joint, “Doctor” Jon Basso, revealed he at first thought it was a joke, but then called 911 when he realized this was no laughing matter, saying:

“I actually felt horrible for the gentleman because the tourists were taking photos of him as if it were some type of stunt. Even with our own morbid sense of humor, we would never pull a stunt like that.”

Although the man is unidentified, sources say he survived the medical scare and is recovering in the hospital. The chain’s former 575-pound spokesman wasn’t so lucky and died last March at just 29-years-old.
Check out the news report above for all the details and do your body a favor by staying clear of this disgustingly unhealthy restaurant!
