One Of Mark Wahlberg's Victims Thinks The Actor Should NOT Be Pardoned For His Past Crimes!

Another person has taken a stand against Mark Wahlberg.
One of the victims of Mark’s reported racially charged attack towards a group of African American school children in 1986, Kristyn Atwood, thinks the actor should NOT be pardoned for a hate crime he committed two years later.

When Kristyn was just a young girl in Boston, she was allegedly assaulted by The Gambler star and a few of his friends while on a school field trip. Wahlberg tossed rocks and ugly epithets at the group of kids, an experience which understandably left a negative impression on Atwood.
Kristyn’s history with Mark is the reason why she feels he shouldn’t receive a pardon for attacking a Vietnamese man in 1988.
She explains:

“I don’t think he should get a pardon. I don’t really care who he is. It doesn’t make him any exception. If you’re a racist, you’re always going to be a racist. And for him to want to erase it I just think it’s wrong.”

Wow. While we definitely think the 43-year-old’s actions were awful, we also believe people can change.
Interestingly enough, Kristyn’s Caucasian teacher, Mary Belmonte, has a different view:

“I believe in forgiveness. He was just a young kid ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ a punk ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ in the mean streets of Boston. He didn’t do it specifically because he was a bad kid. He was just a follower doing what the other kids were doing.”

Considering Mary doesn’t know Mark personally, we’re not sure we can fully support her opinion.
