NYC Fashion Designer Found Dead In Hudson River

Body of NYC fashion designer Michele Savoia found in the Hudson River.
Heartbreaking!
The body of a NYC based fashion designer, Michele Savoia, was found by the police in the Hudson River on Sunday.
The 55-year-old suit designer and boutique owner was last seen leaving club Marquee in the early hours on Thursday, but had been missing since Friday.
And it wasn’t until Sunday that Michele was found in the Hudson off Chelsea Piers, near the house boat he lived on.
According to law-enforcement, they do not suspect foul play.
Michele’s girlfriend, Julia Berg, spoke about the tragedy:

“I├óΓé¼Γäóm just so glad they found the body. Not knowing was the worst.”

So sad!! And to think he was so close to home!
She also reminisced:

“He just had a lust for life. That├óΓé¼Γäós why I fell in love with him. I never met anyone like him before…He just loved doing things visually. He always said that he built suits. He never said he made suits.”

In addition to owning his own boutique, House of Savoia, Michele reportedly also dressed Robert DeNiro, Mickey Rourke, and Chris Noth.
He will always be remembered. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
