Miley Cyrus & Cody Simpson Enjoy A Spooky Date Night Following His Reported Smack Talking!

No complaining here!

Despite reports Cody Simpson was overheard talking smack about his blossoming relationship with Miley Cyrus, it appears all is good between them now!

On Saturday night, the duo were spotted sharing a kiss and a bite to eat with friends (see the photos HERE) in Sherman Oaks before heading to Universal Studios for a night of scares at Halloween Horror Nights.

Apparently, the party of 10 racked up quite a tab at Casa Vega where they dined on Mexican fare, with the total bill costing Mr. Simpson about $1,000. That’s quite a lot of margaritas! An eyewitness to the dinner noted a pal of the Wrecking Ball singer originally tried to pick up the group’s tab, but the 22-year-old snuck his card to the waiter. Classy move, Cody!

After chowing down on dinner, the crew made their way to Universal City where Miz Cyrus appeared to rock a sexy police officer costume, while The Masked Singer Australia winner opted to stay dressed in his casual clothes.

Things have seemed to clear up with the couple since it was just less than a week ago when the Australia native had quite a bit to say about an argument with Miz Cyrus:

“We had a weird one yesterday… not really an argument but she kind of shut down.”

Hmmm…

He was heard continuing:

“Yeah, it was kind of s**tty, but whatever.”

Apparently, even his fellow Aussies weren’t taking too kindly to the budding love because of her previous relationship with Liam Hemsworth, who also calls down under home:

“I’m copping s**t here because of [her] exes. You know, her husband is Australian.”

People were pretty shocked to hear things could have already been over for them, especially because Cody dropped a new song, Golden Thing, about his leading lady days prior. The two have only been linked for less than a month, but have already made plenty of headlines about their new romance.

Aside from the new tune, they’ve already gotten inked together, too! The Slide Away songstress and her beau enlisted the help of celebrity tattoo artist Nico Bassill to get tatted with coordinating body ink (above) to add to their respective ever-growing collections.
