We all know Naya Rivera does an amazing job of playing a lesbian badass, cage-dancing, cheerleader on Glee, but did you ever wonder about the starlet’s real-life high school experience?
Not many people get another shot at schooling, but because of TV, Glee-ful Naya totes did!
And it sounds like teen life is sweeter the second time around!
The actress dished to Complex:
“I wish I had more fun in high school. On Friday nights, me and my friend Madison would stand outside the liquor store and bribe older people walking by to buy us wine coolers to drink while we watched The Notebook.”
LOLz!
But her most maJOR high school horror came from senior prom! She had the date from hell, explaining:
“He started talking about how skinny I was! All of his friends were like, ‘You need a thick girl.’ He was grinding on every other girl at the dance while I sat alone at the table, looking like a señorita. I didn’t even dance. It was horrible.”
And to top off the crummy night, the jock said something hilar to Nay Nay as the date was wrapping up:
├óΓé¼┼ôThen he said, ├óΓé¼╦£So are you coming to the hotel?├óΓé¼Γäó And I was like, ├óΓé¼╦£No, my dad is picking me up. On top of that, you├óΓé¼Γäóre trying to have sex with me? How rude are you?’ Best believe I├óΓé¼Γäóll be at that reunion though.├óΓé¼┬¥├óΓé¼┬¥
