Amazing!
The not-yet-released Japanese app provides a calorie count of the food you’re eating by analyzing the shape and color of it via a photo and then comparing it to a database of 100,000 foods.
This type of application is notoriously hard to pull off due to the difficulties in creating a program that can accurately figure out what food you took a picture of.
“It’s really good on things that Japanese people eat a lot of, like ramen, but not so good on stuff like Thai food,├óΓé¼┬¥ said a spokesperson.
This sounds like such an awesome idea! We hope it works!
