During our last talk about Paula Deen and her brood — well, step-brood (HERE) — we mentioned that she’s probably pretty sick of 2013 after all the shizz she went through, and we now have confirmation that yes, yes she does want 2013 to suck it.
She even says she’s looking forward to the new year!
Here’s what the 66 year-old said:
“I’m gonna be really, really happy to see 2013 gone. There may be something in that number 13.”
We’re not sure we’d blame what she’s gone through as bad luck, but, okay!
She continued:
“It taught me a lot about people ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ not all of it you like. But I learned that I had so many people that cared about me and prayed for me and my family. And I’m looking forward to 2014.”
Who knows what Paula will be able to achieve in the new year? She might even have a comeback.
We do know that she’s still going on her annual Paula Deen & Friends cruise in January, and in February she’ll be at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival.
This all, of course, depends on whether or not she and her family can keep from any more missteps!
