Whoa!! That’s one heck of an alligator!!
Alligator hunting season has only just begun in Mississippi and the state record for heaviest gator has already been broken twice.
In the same day!!
First, a 723.5-pound, 13.5-foot-long gator was caught, breaking the record by 26-pounds.
Then, later that day, Dustin Bockman and his buddy Cole Landers (who both have ’70s porn star names) caught a 13-foot-long, 727-pound gator!!
Bockman said:
“He broke all the lines we could put in him. Finally put a snare on him and got him up high enough and put a shot on him. All in all, probably took us four and a half hours to catch him from the first time we saw him. My goal was to get a 10-footer. I couldn’t believe it when it was that big.”
That’s crazy there are gators that big and that common!
We don’t like anyone killing animals ever but maybe people will sleep a little easier knowing this beast is out of the water.
