Disney does fairy tales right, y’all!
According to reports, Reese Witherspoon will play Tinker Bell in a new live action film called Tink!
How cute is that?! The film is currently in development, and ├óΓé¼ΓÇ╣Tink is still a little ways from seeing the light of day. It doesn’t have a director attached to it yet, and writer Victoria Strouse (who also wrote the script for the Finding Nemo sequel that we all can’t wait to see!) is currently finishing up the screenplay.

But the really cool news is that Tink will reportedly be produced in the same vein as Disney’s 2014 smash Maleficent with Angelina Jolie – a new perspective on the story and a twist on the characters of the classic Peter Pan franchise.
Whoa!!!
We’ll keep you updated as development and then production move along, but Witherspoon getting attached to the project is a big deal and a great get for Disney!
