Robin Williams‘ untimely passing hit a lot of people hard, even those that never knew him.
And it turns out he had special significance to the man who followed in his footsteps.
James Monroe Iglehart, star of the fantastic Broadway version of Disney‘s Aladdin, paid tribute to the original Genie in song.
After Tuesday night’s performance, James spoke to the audience about what Robin’s work meant to him, then led the crowd in an a cappella version of Friend Like Me.
Such a fun and perfect homage! And so sad!! Get a tissue ready and watch …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
