Ruby Rose Nearly Paralyzed Doing Stunts -- Shares VIDEO Of Emergency Surgery!

Ruby Rose Stunt Injury Surgery Video

Ruby Rose is such a bad ass!

The Batwoman star shared a surprising Instagram post late Thursday night explaining a new scar on her neck.

Was it just some scratch? An accident around the house?

No, she just had emergency surgery on her spine, that’s all! And she somehow didn’t say anything about it? We would have been complaining so loud! LOLz!

She wrote:

“Well that was fun
To everyone asking about my new Pez dispenser scar on my neck… A couple of months ago I was told I needed an emergency surgery or I was risking becoming paralyzed… I had herniated two discs doing stunts, and they were close to severing my spinal chord. I was in chronic pain and yet couldn’t feel my arms…”

OMG, so scary!

Along with the post, she shared a video of the surgery, writing:

“Thank you Dr Bray for everything you did and for allowing me to keep working and doing what I love. I am forever in your debt. And to anyone asking why I let them video it.. Did you not watch that Greys anatomy episode where they left a towel in a patient?? Also I wanted to see what happens when we go under.”

Ruby shared the full length video on her YouTube channel, but don’t worry: there’s no blood or gore!

See the whole experience (below):

This isn’t the first time Ruby has shared the intimate details of an injury.

In April 2016, the former model took a bad hit during a stunt on the set of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage; she was running and smashed into a metal pipe, giving her a really horrible looking bruise and huge scrape.

She shared a photo of the wound to IG, which has since been deleted — though it’s unclear whether that was due to Instagram regulations or just being merciful to fans who love her! LOLz!

Nearly two years later, in January of 2018, Ruby underwent her first back surgery. She tweeted at the time:

“So..For the past few years (decade) I’ve been dealing with a spine issue. I am now recovering from a back procedure, but I do need to stay active, so before I get seen with my cane and wheel chair in public, I’d rather put it out there that I’m fine and going to be fine.”

Once again, she was only prompted by the fact people would see the cane to even explain the surgery. Such a trooper.

Thankfully, while this procedure sounds VERY scary, it seems she’s already fully recovered!

Wishing you all the best, Batwoman!
