Both Sarah and Bristol Palin have started the process of trademarking their names and severely overestimating the future use of them that would make trademarking worth it.
Sarah dropped $650 bones for her trademark, which includes:
“Educational and entertainment services, namely, providing motivational speaking services in the field of politics, culture, business and values.” Her application later was amended to include “information about political elections” and “a website featuring information about political issues.”
Bristol, though, only had to spend $325 to cover one area instead of two:
Bristol Palin’s trademark will apply to “educational and entertainment services, namely, providing motivational speaking services in the field of life choices.”
Sarah started the process back a few months ago, and it looks like both trademarks will go through within the next three months.
Congrats, we guess? LOLz!
