It wasn’t too long ago Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith announced their decision to amicably separate.
Just a number of days after their sad announcement a few press outlets speculated that Antonio moved onto Sharon Stone and a number of other actresses quickly after his divorce announcement.
Many celebs opt to keep quiet, regardless of whether or not the rumor is true, but the Basic Instinct star is not standing for any of these claims!
In fact, the actress is a VERY close family friend to Antonio and Melanie, she said:
“Antonio is a brother to me and Melanie has been with me for each and every birth of my three children. They are my family. I find this salacious, unkind, unfounded reporting to be the typical pretense of what passes as ‘journalism’ today.”
It’s pretty common for these type of rumors to spread after breakups, but we commend you for standing up for your friends, Sharon! Bravo!
That response just settles everything!
