Sony Deletes Social Media Profiles For The Interview After Pulling The Plug On The Movie!

no title
It seems like this movie is officially done-zo and the process of eliminating any trace of the flick has already started!
Sony recently has deleted The Interview‘s social media profiles online including its Facebook account and all of the tweets from the movie’s Twitter account.
It also has deleted all of the videos they had originally put out in anticipation for the film on YouTube.

We guess they don’t want any more incidents where they accidentally revealed a new trailer for the film AFTER they had announced they had cancelled the movie from playing anywhere.
Or it’s possible that Sony actually met the demands of the hackers behind the original cyber attack who threatened executives at Sony on Friday when they apparently wrote:

“We want everything related to the movie, including its trailers, as well as its full version down from any website hosting them immediately.”

Although Sony has since said they would still be open to premiering the film on some kind of major VOD distributor, they have yet to find anyone willing to carry the movie on their platform.
It seems like the people behind the cyber attacks on Sony and the threats they made against any movie theater that planned on showing the film have worked. And that’s so frickin’ sad.
