NJ Men Sue Subway Over Short Footlongs!

We previously mentioned that Subway has been getting a lot of backlash over the size of their footlong subs.
People shouldn’t be so upset├óΓé¼┬ª size isn’t everything!
JK! Folks do kinda have a point. It’s basically false advertising when a “footlong” sandwich is only 11 inches.
Two New Jersey men have hopped on the bandwagon and are suing Subway.
They both have the same lawyer, Stephen DeNittis, who is seeking class action status for the suit. He also plans to file in PA.
He said he measured footlongs from 17 different Subways… and they all came up short!!
The plaintiffs, John Farley, of Evesham and Charles Noah Pendrack, of Ocean City, are asking for compensatory damages and change in Subway’s practices.
Subway has yet to publicly comment on the lawsuits.
We wonder if they’ll actually win and Subway will have to stop advertising $5 footlongs and start calling them $5 large subs or something.
We hope it goes class action and everyone gets free Subway for a whole day!
