Target + Neiman Marcus Collab Does A Total Belly Flop

You mean to tell us nobody wanted to shell out $500 for an alice + olivia bicycle, or $80 for an Altuzarra tray, or even $50 for a Diane von Furstenberg yoga mat?
Well, all of those items, and a lot more, are now available for 50% off at Target only three weeks after the launch, because apparently the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection collabo was not the success everyone thought it would be.
After customers went cray cray for the Jason Wu for Target line back in February, Target execs were probably convinced that a collection featuring 24 big-name designers would have people stampeding through the doors like a herd of wildebeest.
Alas, no stampedes occurred this time around, and pretty much all of the items, including an Oscar de la Renta tote, Carolina Herrera stationery set, Tory Burch lunch box, and rag & bone flask are still in stock with their prices slashed, just begging to be bought.
Awkward!
Perhaps customers were put-off by the weirdness of some of the items, like the Band of Outsiders cookie cutters for example, and would’ve preferred more stylish clothing options.
Oh well, you win some, you lose some!
